Hello and welcome to my personal blog!

I have been writing for as long as I can remember—like back when I could barely hold a pencil and write a few letters to form a phonetically-spelled word. The only thing I enjoy more than writing is reading. I thoroughly enjoy getting lost in stories and reading about how our loving Father’s grace is present and active in every person’s life.

I love all kinds of books—a good mystery, sad love story, thriller, self-help—but above all, God’s Word. It inspires me, breaks me, changes me, restores me and then gives me new life. Every day His Word sharpens my eyes so that I can see the world more clearly and love people more like He does.

I earn my bread and butter working in the world of Accounting & Finance but serve by building my Father’s kingdom using my creative talents in the Performing Arts ministry. There I get to help write screen plays, sew costumes and minister to children.

I am mom to a musically-talented son named Chris and grandmother ahem..Nana, to Mason who is 4 years-old. My other love interests are dogs (especially big ones), traveling (the entire world is on my bucket list), searching for organic and healthy food recipes, listening to a variety of jazz and Christian music and growing with my fellow brothers and sisters in the Lord. I am single so I have the privilege of “doing life” with Jesus as my primary companion which makes my daily grind and world-traveling adventures super exciting and unpredictable!

A side-note about this site’s content: The blog posts, short stories and poems you find here have been written over the last 10 years and I’m still in the process of retrieving many of my works from various files and hand-written journals to upload them.
